Meet Akasha Browser extension

Create a private chat link from your browser toolbar in two clicks — no need to open the website first. Works in Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave and other Chromium browsers.

What it does

Click the Meet Akasha icon, type a password (or press Suggest), and press Create private link.
Copy the link and the password, and send them separately.
Open chat now takes you straight into the chat — no retyping.
Same protection as the website: the password never leaves your computer, messages are end-to-end encrypted, nothing is stored.
It only talks to meetakasha.com. It can't read your tabs, history or other websites.

Install it (about 1 minute)

Download the file above and unzip it. You'll get a folder called meet-akasha-extension.
Open chrome://extensions in Chrome (or edge://extensions in Edge).
Turn on Developer mode (top-right in Chrome, left side in Edge).
Click Load unpacked and choose the meet-akasha-extension folder.
Click the puzzle-piece icon in the toolbar and pin Meet Akasha so it's always one click away.

Keep the unzipped folder where it is; the browser loads the extension from it. One-click install from the Chrome Web Store and Edge Add-ons is coming soon.
